Here we see the attic near where Constance is currently standing. Notice anything interesting?

Thats right. In addition to Constance hiding her marraige gifts and the secret of her husband's deaths, she is also hiding the murder weapon! And though its near impossible to see in the darkness of the attraction, it's just one more amazing detail provided by Imagineering.

As I have said, Constance is oddly fascinating. 'props' to the imagineers. They have done a great job laying down and integrating hints and decor.
Just think about how much damage that Hatchet did. Great Find!!
I think it'd be a tad more fun if we could actually see the ax in the ride. Perhaps have it lodged in an attic beam of piece of furniture.
It looks more like a broken slingshot than an axe.

The upside-down column capital beside the axe looks just like one of those candle stands beside madame leota in which ride i forgot. correct me if im wrong
